Masked off where I want the labels to go. I decided I wanted them slightly higher than they originally were. Applied them with spray adhesive...
They look crooked but they're perfectly straight. The lines on the decal trick your eye.

Ok, enough already with the pictures, get those puppies running.:)
Those don't look high to me. I think I've read (here on the forum, probably) that often times the labels were applied by the installer. Just going by your pictures, they don't look noticeably different from cabinets I've seen elsewhere. I've got a sticker that I cut out of a damaged cabinet, and while I can't say for sure, it looks like it was a similar height from the wood that's still surrounding it.
Those are looking really nice.
Must be nice, I've seen enough 416s, 515s trashed from high power/over excursion in both reflex and 825 cabs back when high power SS amps came along to ensure mine never have to work hard to play loud.
Warped records, TT 'rumble' move the woofer slowly enough in a sine-wave for rising rate suspensions and lowering BL due to the VC leaving the gap to compensate, but high amplitude ['fast'] transients in the ~60-160 Hz BW can cause excessive overshoot. I imagine 'old guy' has a few stories to tell.........

Got them put back together and set up in the living room for a test listen. I had to put the tweeters on max attenuation for the best sound. Right now they're being driven by a keyocera SS receiver and they sound pretty good but a bit harsh and "screechy"...what you would expect from most 80's SS amps through horn speakers... They are certainly not "Hi-Fi" speakers by any stretch but I think with some experimentation and modification I'll be able to get them to sound better.

Nice grand, how come you didn't paint the A7's black to match it?
Started gluing solid oak cabinet bracing...
